Experience

During his career Seamus has developed extensive skills and knowledge in both running a successful accountancy practice and providing an efficient and effective service to clients.

Seamus has a keen interest in leadership and business development and has complimented his professional qualifications by studying for a Masters in Corporate Leadership at Dublin City University and by completing an Executive Leadership Programme at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, one of the world’s leading business schools. Throughout his career Seamus has worked extensively with family owned businesses helping them develop and grow. Being dual qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser Seamus is able to advise clients on solutions tailored to their business and maximising the opportunities available to them.

In addition to working with family owned businesses Seamus has developed an expertise within the medical profession and is recognised as being Northern Ireland’s leading specialist accountant. Seamus has spoken at numerous events organised by the Royal College of General Practitioners, Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Association, Southern Area Learning as Teams and various pharmaceutical companies.

In recent years Seamus has organised and delivered his own seminars direct to General Practitioners. Seamus is also a member of the executive committee of AISMA the association of independent medical specialist accountants.

Background

Seamus qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989. Seamus qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1991. Seamus also holds a masters in corporate leadership.
